Welcome to Helen Betty Osborne Ininiw Education Resource Centre. The site is designed to be a resource for both students and staff and to promote school programs. It is also designed to be a place where parents can locate important information and resources to help them in the educational process. Our school is N-12 with a student enrollment of approximately 1400. Enjoy the site and remember to keep coming back for updates!
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will be visiting Jack River and HBOIERC on Monday, March 24th. Students and staff from both schools will get to talk and interact with the team during the day. The team will be at Jack River in the morning and in HBOIERC in the afternoon. We look forward to their visit.

Norway House Cree Nation: Growing for next generation
Helen Betty Osborne Ininiw Educational Resource Center CARES, we care about you, the students. We care about you, the parents. We care about you, our staff, and we care about the mental well-being of our beautiful community. We want to end the stigma surrounding mental health, and encourage you to go see our school counsellors, if the need arises. Our school has four counsellors, Sandra Hart, Violet Poker, Dustin Anderson, and the Mental Wellness Worker Celena Keeper. They are here to provide you with, support, guidance, and are ready and waiting with an open heart and an open mind. Everyone at some point in their lives needs help with something, and it’s alright to admit that. We are here to help you deal with the stresses of school, home, and community life. We encourage you and your families to be more open and begin or continue communicating in an effort to live a happy and productive life. Together, we can help the youth and their families that struggle with mental health. Please remember HBOIERC CARES!
