The students and staff of HBOIERC are proud to congratulate 3 of our very own educators for their tremendous contribution to Physical and Health Education in Norway House and the province of Manitoba and for receiving awards in recognition for their service.

Mr. Josiah Rogge ( PHE Canada, Dr. Andy Anderson Young Professional Ward
We are extremely proud of all three of our educators and the work they have done and continue to do to provide the children and youth of Norway House with many opportunities to lead healthy and active lifestyles.
About the Awards:
Norman East Regional Award ( Purvis Cromarty)
This award is presented to individuals who provided leadership in their region by hosting workshops or area tournaments, developing outstanding programs, contributing to the community, etc.
PHE Manitoba Health Educator Award (Melissa Ferrar)
This award recognizes a teacher for their work in providing outstanding health classes or programs in the early, middle, or senior years.
PHE Canada's Dr. Andy Anderson Young Professional Award (Josiah Rogge)
A yearly award presented to one professional per provincial association that best epitomizes exemplary work on behalf of the physical and health education profession. Selection of the award recipient is made by the provincial association.
