High School Halloween Video Dance/Minute To Win It Night - October 27, 2016

The grade 9-12 students of HBOIERC are invited to an evening of dance and games that will energize and excite all. The fun will take place in the Senior Gym at 7:00 pm and will finish at 10:00 pm. Buses will pick students up and drop them off after the event is over. Students are encouraged to dress up. Reduced prices for those who wear a halloween costume.
The procedure for the night is as follows:

- Students have between 7:00 and 7:30 to enter the dance. Doors close after 7:30 pm.
- Admission prices: No costume - $5.00, Costume - $3:00
- Once students enter the gym they are not allowed to leave until 10:00 pm when the buses come to pick everyone up. Do not come if you cannot or will not stay in the gym for the full 3 hours.
- Bathrooms will be open so students do not have to leave the gym.
- Students will not be allowed to use the drink machines in the hallway.
- Food and drinks will be sold in the gym. Again, no need to leave the gym.
- If a student insists on leaving the gym they will no longer be permitted back. Make sure you have a ride if you leave.
- Alcohol, smoking and/or drugs will not be permitted. If anyone is caught doing one of these activities they will be punished according to school rules and policies. Parents, administration and the authorities will be notified and consequences will be handed out.
- Students have opportunities to win money and prizes throughout the night. For each game played, a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner will get their names entered to win a $25.00 draw at the end of the night. There will be 2 draws made for $25.00 each. We will also be awarding $25.00 to the best costume for one male and one female.
- Students are asked to be respectful of the school rules, not to run while in the gym, keep the gym area clean by throwing garbage in the appropriate containers, and to use appropriate language.
